WoW has 10 races, five for each faction. The Alliance races are the Draenei, Dwarves, Gnomes, Humans, and Night Elves. The Horde spawned the Blood Elves, Orcs, Taurens, Trolls and Undead. Night Elves enjoy the racial bonuses of Shadowmeld, Elusiveness, Quickness, Wisp Spirit and resist Nature spells.

Blood Elves can silence their enemies, increase their enchanting skill and decrease their chance of being hit by magic. Orcs get an increase to their attack or spell power, aren’t Stunned for as long, have a bonus for axes and their pets do greater damage. Taurens can stun 5 enemies at once, have higher Health, their Herbalism skill is higher and they resist Nature spells better. The Trolls go Berserk, heal quicker, damage beasts worse, throw weapons and use bows better plus recover faster from movement impairments. Undead are cannibals, breath underwater, can’t be mind controlled and resist Shadow spells.

All ten races in WoW have unique abilities that should be taken into consideration before making a character. Some races stand out as being sneakier, better magic wielders, burlier fighters or well suited to being part magic user and part soldier. The Priest is one of the most powerful healers in WoW and they have good destructive spells.  They also resurrect, shield and add powerful buffs to their party members.

Rouges are hard to kill.  Their damage is done through poisons and rapid melee attacks while invisible.

If you want to be a little of everything then consider being a Shaman.  They cast spells and use totems to heal or harm but can be used as a backup tank fighter as well.

Warlocks are the other class that have a fighting pet but their pets are demons.  Warlocks destroy their enemies from a distance while protecting their party.

The last class is the Warrior. The warrior is a melee fighting machine, the game tank.  They protect allies and crush foes with multiple tricks.

Each race in WoW allows several choices of class but not every class, except the Death Knight, is available to every race. With all the different races you can blend with different classes, you’ll never run out of characters to play.

This is going to be a short one here for you, I’m just going to talk real quickly about grinding. Many players do not do this anymore because they don’t think it’s worth the time.
