This is going to be a short one here for you, I’m just going to talk real quickly about grinding. Many players do not do this anymore because they don’t think it’s worth the time.

Grinding is still the premier method of farming gold because it’s so simple and basuic.

If you are a new player, or on a lower level character you are going to want to stick to killing humanoids, unless you are a skinner. Humanoids drop both cloth and coin which is a large portion of your money, and they also have the highest drop percentage for green’s and blues (generally speaking).

Now if you are a higher level a few things you will want to target is motes, twink items and vanity items.

The first two are fairly obvious on where to farm them, so I’m not going to go into detail.

But vanity items raise a good question with most players.

These are very easy to farm or obtain but most players don’t even know they exist! These players may even have a few in their inventory and they wont make the money they SHOULD!

Vanity items are those items that very simply make the characters look pretty. They have no other purpose at all.

These range from foods or drinks that alter characters effect, to clothing that makes a character look like afisherman or a ninja!

This also includes pets that people don’t know about. Players love collecting things. Buying pets and reselling them can make you a lot of gold for this exact reason. In fact theres a few pets that sell for hundreds of gold because they are a rare drop.

Now some of these items are hard to find (That’s why they make you so much gold). But once you find these locations , they bring in gold like it’s clockwork!

It could take you a very long time to gather these spots because 99% of the gamers don’t know they exist.

To be completely honest with you, I would have never thought of these spots if it wasn’t for Derek. He showed me all of these spots and he has helped me use these spots effectively.

World of Warcraft is by far the best and largest MMORPG out yet. World of Warcraft follows a long history of the original strategy game warcraft. Along with the 8 races there are also 9 classes that you may choose from which are the Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock and Warrior. A player may choose 2 primary professions and as many secondary professions as they like.

Blizzard has been updating World of Warcraft much more than their previous games that required connection to Battle.net. Quests, items, fixes and other great enhances are being added or changed to improve gameplay. Unlike other MMORPGs, the quests of WoW are made to help leveling and is much pleasurable. It is not as repetitive as you are required to kill the same monsters and the constant travelling back and forth to speak to a dozen NPCs.

Like most and all MMORPGs, WoW has their own game economy and ingame shop/auction house. Their currency is based on copper, silver and gold. This hero has become a very popular character and many players have already mastered how to use Elune’s Arrow and combo it with Leap and Starfall. So I will not go into detail with Mirana.

Leap

The common mistake of some players is either to Leap too soon, or too Leap too late when Mirana is fleeing. Here’s a quick tip. When facing enemies who have stuns, disables or has a Blink (including Dagger), try to Leap after you’ve seen them cast their spells. This would at least ensure you that after you leap, no one can catch up.

The Moonlight Shadow

Her ultimate is often underrated by many, because they think all it does is rescue her or her allies from immediate danger or sure death. True, this is a very important defensive use of her ultimate but what many players don’t know is that it can be used offensively too.

Mirana’s ultimate basically lends everybody in her team temporary invisibility. So just pretend your whole team has gotten the Invisibility rune. What do you guys do? You ambush the enemy.

In short, Moonlight Shadow can be used to set up an ambush. It can be against the whole team or just a couple of enemies.
But for this to be effective, your allies have to know what they have to do. Your team has to be coordinated. Once you get into your position, everything should go like clockwork. Your enemies would never know you were there.

Once you’ve used this tactic once or twice, you can now actually use another tactic against your enemies.

I call it the “missing ruse.”

Tell your allies to go missing, meaning they leave their lane and so on. If your enemies are pushing down one lane, they might back off a bit, because they might think they will be ambushed. This actually wastes their time. Now they have to decide whether they should reorganize their push or fall back in to the woods. Once you see them take action, then just return to your lanes or get ready to defend.

If you didn’t get the significance of this ruse, I’ll explain it in simpler terms– One aspect of DotA is fooling your enemies into doing things they really don’t have to do. By making them think they’ll be ambushed, you’re actually undermining their push, giving your team a slight edge.

It can take a long time for World of Warcraft newbies to build up any amount of gold let alone a substantial amount. I started to look for ways to increase my gold amount in less amount of time. I came across a few World of Warcraft gold creating guides to learn some new tactics. One, in particular, speeded up the process of earning gold for me in a straight-forward manner.

Gold Farming is a Very complex thing to discuss and completely understand when you are first starting out. But the guidance in this letter will assist you and speed up that learning curve.

Grinding for gold is the most basic and most common form of gold farming. Since this is the most basic form of gold farming it does get a lot of attention from all sorts of players. However most players never end of grinding out the amount of gold they should. It’s very easy to farm up to 250g/hour now with the Burning Crusade. The mobs drop a lot more coin, the items that drop vendor for a higher price. 

On top of this you will be getting greens, blues and epics that will be selling for an even larger price then before. You can sell your items for a lot more gold because the average drop rates coin itself has been increased. This means there are a lot more players out there with money to throw around. 

Knowing the correct places to farm and know how to farm are key assets when it comes to playing World of Warcraft effectively. Many players make minor mistakes when it comes to farming that it puts them far behind the rest of the competition. 

Downtime is one of the most major mistakes players make when grinding gold. Downtime is the amount of time during grinding that you spend NOT killing other mobs. This includes running to the next mob, sitting for a drink, chatting to your friends, not chain-casting your next spell (casting the spell as soon as it’s available) all of these things will drop your gold per hour rate. The most common downtime is sitting down to eat or drink. Every glass has a favorable “Grinding spec” and if you plan to farm for gold for a certain amount of time, it’s well worth the money to re-spec to. 

Every time you take a seat to drink or eat, you are knocking anywhere between 15-30 seconds off of your killing time. Let’s say you can kill 5 mobs in a row without having to sit and drink or eat.  That means, everytime you kill 100 mobs you are spending 10 minutes on your butt. That’s a pretty large amount of time, and most classes can’t even make it 5 mobs with some of the specs. 

For instance, my Mage was Fire Spec for a while until I realized I was only getting about 3 kills on average in before I had to take a drink. I switched to frost, which is a premiere grinding spec and it got me up to 8 kills before I sat down. This is a great rate because  I nearly cut my downtime to 2/3^rd of the rate it was. 

So next time you go out grinding, remember that downtime is a key penalty to the gold rate you pull in. You can easily double your gold rate over night by choosing the right spec for your character.Visit The Warcraft Guide for more.
